I spent my day in Portland, Oregon today. Most of my time was spent at the Pride festival and I’m going back tomorrow.
I went mostly to be among people like me. The sense of community, acceptance and diversity I crave and wish for in my daily life. It was freeing.
Inspiration was the other reason I was there. People watching. Witnessing love in all it’s shades and forms. It was beautiful. I hung around the stage most of the afternoon listening to the artists perform and they blew me away. I had a blast!
A shout out to Frankie Simone and her beautiful dancers and also to LuluBeatz and her lovely dancers as well. Both artists are from Portland. Go get their EP’s wherever you get your music. I Tunes, Google Play Music, Spotify, Amazon, etc. I did.
Looking forward to Sunday PDX Pride. I’m taking my son this time.
