I’ve finally gotten back in the groove of writing. I had a significant block going on for a while but no longer! The computer issues I was having didn’t help either.
It feels good to get on with the story of Jo and Sarah. They have so much more of their lives to share with you and I’m proud of the story being told. My working title for book two of the Coffee and Emeralds series has the words Crimson and Amber in it. If you’ve read my first book, then you got a sneak peek at the beginning of the second book. The first draft is nearly complete. Soon I will begin the editing process.
What stories do you have to tell? Everyone has something. Even if you are not a writer there are stories there in your head. How do you tell them? Do you share them with others or keep them to yourself?
With the world in such chaos, it’s nice to take a little break from the crazy and read about people, places and things that are new and familiar. Whether it’s seeing a movie or reading a book, escape is nice occasionally. Reading for me is an essential daily part of life no matter what else is going on. If I’m not reading, I’m not living.
What is everyone reading right now? Do you have your favorite books that you go back to time and again when you want a break? I’m currently re-reading a novel by Robert R. McCammon called Swan Song. I’ve read this book at least four times now. I don’t really know why I like it so much, but I do. It’s one of those post-apocalyptic horror type stories.
Leave me a comment below and let me know what you are reading now. Have you read my book: Into the Emerald? What did you think? It’s available on Amazon on Kindle and you can read it for free on Kindle Unlimited. There’s a paperback version as well if you’re into that. I’m working on an Audible version with a voice actor and that will be coming in a few months.

Have a great rest of your week and a fabulous weekend! I hope you get some reading in!
Swan Song is one of my faves too!
