Well, not really. I’m knee deep in the first draft and I’ve already gone off course for the outline I created for my dystopian sci fi novel.
From what I understand, this is not uncommon. LOL. The story is evolving, and so are the characters. This is what I love about writing. The places I can go and the places the story takes me can be ever changing. It’s a process, but an enjoyable one.
My weekend was relaxing. I got to spend an extra day with my love. We binged the entire 3rd season of Stranger Things, ate ice cream (the Upside Down Sundae from Baskin Robbins), and enjoyed each others company. We also took a walk in the nearby forest to soak in the sounds of nature and get outside.

I’m putting book three on hold for a while to work on a new untitled book series. The first book of this series will be called Out from the Under and will be a young adult dystopian sci fi book featuring strong lesbian characters.
