Hello there everyone! I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted about any hikes we’ve done the past few weekends. We do some type of hike nearly every Saturday and that will continue. Oregon is a great place to do that and we usually manage to find a place that neither of us has been to before to investigate.
This past weekend we went to Green Peak Falls again. It’s closeby and one of my favorite trails. It wasn’t overly crowded, and we sat out on the rocks enjoying nature with the sound of the waterfall and numerous birds in the background. It was hot and the water was nice to walk through. There wasn’t much water coming over the falls, but we enjoyed our time there. I can’t adequately explain how getting out there in nature makes me feel. It renews me.
The previous weekend we attempted another trail nearby, but there was a wedding going on right at the trailhead and we didn’t intrude. We went for ice cream instead…

Significant progress has been made on the first book of my new series. It’s a dystopian young adult novel and I’m excited about it. I would share more, but I’m not ready to give away anything yet. 😁
