I didn’t do any blog posts last week and only a small amount of writing on Friday morning. I decided to take last week off to refresh and renew my mind, spirit, and body instead of the usual grind I’ve been trying to keep up for months now.
My day usually starts at 5 am. I get up, write for two hours then get set to go to work. In itself, that can be exhilarating as I progress in my current storyline. Sometimes though, I need to take a break, like last week.
I’m back at it this week and plan to continue my process. I’m excited about this book and hope to bring it to you soon. I’m still in the first draft, and it’s not complete yet, but I’ve come a long way from the first notion of this book.
I’ve also drafted book three of Coffee and Emeralds (currently untitled) and will work more on that after I finish my current project.
I hope you all had a fantastic weekend. It was hot! I spent it with my lady doing everyday things like yard sales, cooking and even sleeping in. It was nice.
