I know many of you are wondering when the Audible version of Crimson and Amber: Coffee and Emeralds Book Two will be released…

Well, it’s in the final stages of production. My narrator/producer has finished and is just doing some sound editing so that it doesn’t get kicked back again. I had to find a new narrator earlier this year because of sound issues with the first person I had enlisted.

Don’t get me wrong, this person did a fantastic job! I loved her interpretation of the characters, but the Audible “techsperts” kept kicking it back saying there was too much noise “on the floor” of the recording. I couldn’t hear it, and neither could several other people, but they are the gods of Audible and what they say goes. Sorry, Tristan R. I know how hard you worked. I’m really bummed that it didn’t pan out.

Needless to say, I’ve enlisted another person to do this for me and she has also done a fantastic job! I’ve been through half of the book and am just awaiting the final upload so that I can listen and approve the rest. Then the folks at Audible will put it through their quality control before approving it for sale. Fingers crossed!!!

I will of course let you know as soon as it’s available! I’m excited to get this out to you!

Progress on book three is still coming along. I’ve had some major changes in my life that have required me to change a few things, and the COVID crisis has really hit me hard both physically and emotionally. I’m still working (I’m in the Veterinary field) and although I’m working fewer hours, those hours are more difficult and emotionally draining. I used to finish work believing I’ve done some good for pets and their owners, but that feeling hasn’t come in a while. We are doing the best we can and I will continue to do so. Hang in there everyone. I will too.

In the meantime, I may put out a chapter or two of a different sort of story. Something I’ve put on the back burner, but I believe it will be a great story. Just a thought. I’ll continue my blogging, and may even get up the courage to do a VLOG, or podcast!
