Hey everyone.
Book three is just about done. I have final edits, formatting and other things to do, but the third book of the Coffee and Emeralds series is in its final stages. I’m guessing it will be 2-3 weeks before I do the final upload to Kindle and Amazon!!! I’m still finalizing the title, not sure I really like the one I have. As soon as I have it, I will share, as well as a cover reveal.
I know many of you have been waiting patiently, (and some impatiently!) for this release. Rest assured, it’s coming very soon! Kindle Vella is a cool little platform. Serial reads. I have 22 episodes posted, with many more on the way. Your first three episodes of any title are free, and when you start out reading, they give you 200 tokens so you can continue. I’m not sure how long they will offer the free tokens, but it’s a nice way to get started.
This past weekend, we didn’t do any hiking. We mostly stayed around the house, but we did manage to get out and see the movie, Free Guy. I absolutely loved it! Ryan Reynolds and Jodie Comer…what could be better? It’s a funny take on gaming and life. If you’re into sci-fi, video games, and movies, this is for you.
The other thing we did was head to a local casino. I’m not much of a gambler, but it was fun. We wore gloves and double masked while we were there. We wanted to have some fun before things shut down again. At one point I was up $100 bucks, but promptly lost it. My partner managed to win back almost everything we lost and we just about broke even. We had a good time hanging with her sister and brother in law, and it’s something we can all do together, and will do again once it’s a little safer out there.
I don’t have any pictures to share this week, unfortunately. We’re hoping to get outside again over the long weekend, and I promise to share some photos of the PNW with you then.
