We kicked our own asses this weekend because we are still trying to get back into shape, but it was worth it!
Our Get Outside! trip this weekend was to Silver Falls in Oregon. I have a few pics and a video below for your enjoyment.

One of the things I love the most about the Silver Falls trail is that there are so many different types of waterfalls, including the one above that you can view from inside the cavern behind it (North Falls). The “Trail of Ten Falls” is a little more than 7 miles long, and although we didn’t do the entire trail, it was time well spent. Because of the drought this year in Oregon and much of the west coast, several of the falls we passed by had little to no water coming over them.
What did you do this past weekend? It’s been a couple of weeks since we’ve been able to get out into the trees. It was tough going uphill at the end, but we did it. There really is nothing like being outside, finishing your hike, getting that high from nature, and the feeling of accomplishment. Sure, we were a little sore the next day, but it leads to good things and helps us stay healthy. Gotta get that vitamin D right?
