I’ve been hard at work on the sequel. It’s not ready for publication yet, but I’ll be sure and let you know when the first few episodes are live. I’m hoping to post the first few by the end of May. It’s a busy month for me, but I will find the time.
This last weekend, my partner and I spent some time in Portland. We went to the “Banksyland” showing, which I can only describe as an emotionally hopeful experience. If you don’t know who Banksy is, click here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banksy
We also visited Crystal Springs Rhododendron Gardens in Southeast Portland. I used to take my lunch break there back in the 90s and wanted to go back. It’s certainly changed a lot, but the bench near the pond where I shared a sandwich with a nutria (yeah, I didn’t know what it was at the time) is still there. We happened to see one languishing in the water while we were there. I wonder if he’s related to the ROUS that I saw all those years ago.
What a wonderful place to see wildlife, trees, flowers, and of course Rhododendrons. It was a perfect day. In the 60s, with a few white clouds in the sky. The walk was peaceful and we saw a multitude of ducks and ducklings, geese, a nutria, and an unafraid Broad Billed hummingbird. It was a nice way to spend the afternoon before our drive home.
This coming Saturday, April 30th, we are attending our favorite drag show, Damsels Divas and Dames in Eugene. It’ll be a damn fun time! This is the return of this show since the start of the pandemic, but sadly it will be the last one. We can’t wait!!!
